InCase Action Camera Pro Pack is a backpack specifically designed for GoPro users in mind. We had the opportunity to test it out and we are STOKED. If you are looking around for a solid backpack to carry and store your GoPro gear that has enough room to fit everything and looks stylish then this might be something you want to take a look at. InCase has a HUGE range of bags, cases and accessories but we will be looking at Incase Action Camera Pro Pack.

Let`s start with the appearance!

Appearance is something very subjective but for most people, there are some universal truths about what looks good and what doesn`t. The Action Camera Pro Pack comes all black with a tiny white logo on top – it`s discreet and doesn`t scream out “hey, I’m a walking billboard”.

The front of the bag looks very different from most of the backpacks on the market and almost looks like the bottom of a gym bag. It has no pockets, no zippers, no buckles, no strings – just a clean solid canvas with 4 “knobs” in the corners that will help protect from any scratches when the bag is facing down.

The top, bottom, side pockets and the front are made of 600D poly non-PVC that has a shiny leathery look and feel. Since it`s not your average cloth, it`s actually water repellent, and when we poured a bottle of water on the bag it just drained away. So that actually makes the bag semi-waterproof.

The rest of the bag is made of durable 1680D ballistic nylon and it feels like it can last for years and years.

The overall appearance looks really sleek, almost too pretty to be an action camera bag. I can totally imagine myself using it as a travel bag when going on a business trip. The lack of dangling zippers and clamps makes it a perfect carry-on bag to use in crowded places – nothing gets snagged or stuck anywhere. I almost apologized to the bag when I laid it on dirt ground to grab my GoPro for a quick shot.

The inside of the bag is light gray with bright green details and features a canister nest that stores two GoPros. It`s pretty thick so it keeps the cameras safe.
You have an adjustable divider so you can decide how you want to organize your GoPro accessories and the bag comes with one see-through storage bag.

The back side of the bag has four thick paddings that feel pretty solid against your back. We tried the Action Camera Pro Pack on a 2-hour hike with the bag fully loaded with GoPro gear and a heavy DSLR and the strain to the lower back was non-existent.

Using the Incase Action Camera Pro Pack

The bag has a big main compartment that you can access from the back or through the right side pocket for quick access on the go.
You can fit the nesting canister plus 5 Accessory Organizers in the main compartment. I had 2 of them so that left room for my timelapse controller, my small storage case, a mini tripod, pliers, wide angle lens for my DSLR, battery bank and gloves. The bag has a velcro divider that helps you organize the gear inside, but since you have the quick access door on the side you can`t set it just anywhere you want, you are limited to the upper or lower part of the big main compartment.

The sides of Incase Action Camera Pro Pack are covered with nice soft faux fur and your gear feels warm and snug in the bag 🙂
The latch has a really soft and furry tablet compartment. My 10.1” tablet with a flip case fit there well, but it was really tight. Any tablet without a case would fit perfectly! The latch also features a small pocket that has integrated memory card holders which is pretty cool. You will always know where your memory cards are and you don`t have to search for those small things in the Accessory Organizers and can reach them in seconds.

The left side pocket has a see-through compartment to store your wallet, phone, battery bank or whatever accessory you might have that you need to access fast. The right side pocket is pretty much the same with the exception that you can access the main compartment from it.

The top compartment is perfect for a DSLR, a bigger camera with a battery grip or a telephoto lens will not fit there but my Canon 600D with a 10-22mm wide angle lens fits perfectly with some extra room to spare. The top compartment also has a velcro divider in case you want to organize your camera and separate it from an extra lens you can fit there.

At the bottom, you will find a small compartment that hides the brightly colored rain cover that you can slip on the backpack when you want to protect it from rain or dirt or when moving around in a crowded place and feel you need to add an extra protection against any thieves. The cover prevents anyone from accessing the side or top compartments and running away with your precious gear. You can remove the rain cover with a simple clip and lend it to a friend because the bag is pretty waterproof itself. Or you can use it to cover gear or use it as a fashionable hat. When the rain cover is tucked away in the compartment it actually acts as a padding in the bottom in case you happen to drop the bag.

The traps look pretty solid and have decent padding. You have a convenient integrated action camera mount on left strap so you can either keep your GoPro there for quick access or get some cool POV footage. An adjustable sternum strap adds a bit more stability but we would love to see a hip belt to get some load off the shoulders. You can adjust the length of the straps like you do on any other backpack and they stay in the desired position even after a long use.

Both sides feature two straps to attach a tripod, a monopod or a pole and are easily adjustable. There is also a bungee cord running along the sides that can be used to hold your jacket in place or whatever use you find for it.

One thing we found is missing from this otherwise pretty amazing backpack is the laptop compartment. But you can`t have everything and adding a laptop compartment to the Action Camera Pro Pack would make it perhaps too big and bulky.

InCase Action Camera Pro Pack – Our verdict!

I absolutely love this backpack! InCase has a pretty impressive lineup of different backpacks and bags and the Action Camera Pro Pack also has Ken Block edition, that has a different color but this one is high in our suggestion list.

The Backpack is perfect to fit all your GoPro accessories and has plenty of room for a sandwich or a small Jagermeister if you go snowboarding and need a sip of cold medicine. The look of the bag is really nice and it almost feels too pretty to be taken in some more extreme situations where you might go to grab some killer shots.

You might want to get one extra Accessory organizer when you buy this backpack to make sure you keep different GoPro accessories separated but the one that is included is enough for most users.
